Vanda Care

Once only available in tropical settings, Vanda Orchids have been specially developed and designed to thrive in an indoor setting.

Vandas are available in an acrylic or glass container and also in hanging form.

tip 1

Acrylic or Glass Container
Twice a week, fill the container with water until the roots are completely submerged. Allow the roots to soak in water for one minute. Then drain the container completely. Make sure you hold the container at the bottom while watering and draining.

Always water your orchid during the day, so that the roots do not remain wet at night, when the plant is more prone to diseases. This will allow for complete water evaporation and keep your roots healthy.

Feed with a water-soluble orchid fertilizer according to instructions in the box.

Tip 2

Hanging Vandas:
Mist your hanging Vanda’s roots and leaves with water daily.

It is also possible to use an in-home vase or bucket to water your hanging vanda in the same style as the acrylic or glass vanda care instructions. However, please make sure the container is clean.

Feed with a water-soluble orchid fertilizer according to instructions in the box.
